About Garnetta Cromwell & DaGroovmasters

If you haven’t experienced Garnetta Cromwell’s powerful, bluesy and soulful voice, then you are in for a treat!  Garnetta Cromwell’s band is a multicultural musical union with top notch musicians, with Garnetta Cromwell on lead vocals, Juan Arce on Saxophone, Toshi “T-Bird” Otani is her lead guitarist, Robin Houston on Drums and Mark “DaFunkmaster” Howe on Bass. Together, they create a sound that soulful, funky fusion kind of Blues!

In 2024 Garnetta Cromwell, a Canadian Afro-Metis singer, songwriter and musician, was the first woman featured on the cover of the Stonebridge Wasaga Beach Blues festival program book.

Garnetta Cromwell has been nominated for The Maple Blues Awards (2024) & The Blues Blast Music Awards (2024), which took place in the USA. They competed at the IBC (International Blues Competition, won the TBS Talent Search (2022), Garnetta has performed on the “Women’s Blues Revue” 2 years in a row,

Since starting her own band almost 3yrs ago and released her “critically acclaimed” first Debut Album, “Time To Shine” (in September of last year), Garnetta Cromwell & DaGroovmasters have been rocking the stage at all their festival performances and leaving their audiences with a memorable and lasting impression!
