Championship Weekend is here — section finals, a full club, and a great way to close out the curling season.
From Friday through Sunday, our finalists take the ice with club championships on the line — along with our usual bagpiping ceremonies, pick-5s, and no shortage of great food and drink throughout the weekend.

Friday
- Mixed Finals — 7:00pm
Saturday
- Monday CYOR Finals — 10:00am
- Women’s Finals — 2:00pm
- Men’s Finals — 6:00pm
Sunday
- Social Mixed Showdown (Fri vs Sat) — 10:00am
- Sunday Rec Finals — 2:00pm
- Sunday Open Finals — 6:00pm
Bagpiping ceremonies will take place prior to each final.
Championship BBQ (Saturday, 1:00–5:00pm)
Saturday afternoon will be the centre of it all — finals, BBQ, and a full club.
The Championship BBQ is now sold out, but members are still very welcome to come down and be part of the afternoon.
For those playing in Saturday’s finals, you’re automatically included — no RSVP required.
Laneway Distillers Tasting
Laneway Distillers will be on site Saturday from 2:30–5:30pm, with tastings available during the afternoon.
Kitchen Hours
The kitchen will be open:
- Friday & Saturday: 5:00–10:00pm
A good chance to use any remaining food minimum.
It’s a great weekend to be at the club. Come down, catch a game (or a few), and be part of the atmosphere.
Housekeeping
Traffic & Parking
We expect heavier traffic than usual around the club this weekend due to forecasted rain and the early cherry blossom season in High Park.
Parking will be limited. Please allow extra time, and where possible, consider carpooling or taking transit.
Office Closure
The Club Office will be closed for in-person visits from Monday, April 27 through Wednesday, April 29.
Staff will remain available by email during this time.
